Ads help make this year’s Super Bowl extremely social
People weren’t just watching the close game against the 49ers and the Ravens and chatting with friends about the ads, they were sharing everything about it. According to Twitter, of the 52 ads that ran during the game, half had the Twitter hashtag on it, which resulted in these ads being mentioned 300,000 on Sunday—a 273 percent jump from last year.
