After Hurricane Sandy disaster, NYC startups are lending a hand to others
Many parts of New York City remain without power and transportation, which can be a huge headache for everyone, including startups. Entrepreneurs with working amenities have decided to lend a hand to other startups suffering. The founder of Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, Charlie O’Donnell, started the initiative by posting on Twitter a request to share office space if available. Soon after office co-op spaces like Headhunter Labs, Dumbo Startup Labs, Secret Clubhouses, and others opened their doors. [Source GigaOM]
