Jeff Bezos and his team at Amazon are looking at splitting up the movie-streaming product part of Amazon Prime, and turning it into a standalone business unit. This would help with licensing issues from content providers. However, it should be noted that splitting up a content business isn’t always a good idea, but if Amazon is going ahead with their plans, I have a good name: Quikster.
