Apple Has Paid Developers Enough Money to Fill 2.5 Olympic Swimming Pools
Tap! has taken stock of the iOS ecosystem, and they paint a far rosier picture than many may have imagined. Their infographic is chock-full of useless factoids, like the fact that all of the iPhones and iPads that Apple has sold, when stacked together, would be 1/10 of the way to the moon. Perhaps most interesting is the amount Apple has paid to developers: $5.5 billion, or as Tap! puts it, enough to fill 2.5 Olympic swimming pools with dollar bills. Not quite as fancy as Scrooge McDuck’s gold-filled pool, but I’ll take it.
