AT&T Towers Interfered with Oakland Police Radio
The Oakland police have discovered that AT&T’s 2G network (or, rather, one specific spectrum of that 2G network) was responsible for the failure of police radios. For its part, AT&T has shut the problematic spectrum down (without calling the police’s claims a knee jerk reaction). Investigations into other causes of interference are still ongoing.
