AT&T’s Foot Meets Its Mouth
Reacting to bad press isn’t always the best idea. Those arguments are wrong,” is probably even worse. AT&T managed to squeeze both into one release defending its decision to make FaceTime available via wireless only to new, shared data plan users. As an attempted reassurance to customers, the carrier said “To be clear, customers will continue to be able to use FaceTime over Wi-Fi irrespective of the data plan they choose.”
