Best Buy gets into the “disc to digital” gouging game
Best Buy has introduced CinemaNow, a new service that allows customers to convert their DVDs to digital copies – complete with UltraViolet DRM! The “conversion” costs from 99-cents or $1.99 for standard definition, with HD costing from $4.99 to $5.99. Because there’s nothing better than paying for a movie you already “own!”
