Best Buy has hired Hubert Joly as its new CEO during negotiations with founder Robert Schulze. The retailer said that Schulze declined a due diligence investigation, to which Schulze replied that he thought they were still negotiating the investigation’s terms. In a letter to the board last week, Schulze wrote ”I still hope to work with the board on a mutually beneficial transaction – but you should know that I am not going away.”
