Book Publishers Reach $69M Settlement Agreement
Consumers in every state – with the notable exception of Minnesota – may be given a check or credit for an ebook, paidContent reports. HarperCollins, Hachette and Simon & Schuster have proposed a $69 million settlement that, if approved, would make that pesky “publishers colluded with Apple on ebook prices” allegation all but disappear.
