Check Out the Largest 3D Map of the Universe
The Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) has released the largest-ever 3D map of the universe. The map was captured by a 2.5-meter wide-angle optical telescope based at the Apache Point Observatory in New Mexico. The map includes about 400,000 galaxies, with galactic bodies that have been in existence since the universe was half its current age. [Source: TheVerge]
