Cisco acquires data center automater Cloupia for $125M
Cisco has agreed to acquire Santa Barbara-based data center automation company Cloupia for $125 million. Cloupia reportedly has 50 employees, 30 customers, and partnerships with VMware, Amazon, Rackspace, and Microsoft, among others. Following the acquisition, expected to close by the end of the quarter, Cloupia’s employees will join Cisco’s Data Center Group.
