Dell looking to go private for $23 billion
And the details keep trickling in. The “rumored” Dell deal is a not-so-secretive deal with each day providing more and more information about the inevitable plan for it to go private. The latest comes from The Wall Street Journal, which states that the deal will most likely be around $23 billion, making it the largest one since the financial crisis. In order to get the ball rolling, Michael Dell would kick in over $4 billion, Microsoft would add $2 billion, and Silver Lake would add an additional $1 billion.
