Digg claims traffic doubled since August acquisition and redesign
New Digg owner Betaworks reported today that the site has doubled its user base since its August acquisition. Additionally the site has begun monetizing via its new affiliate-link powered “Apps We Like” section. The company reported 1.7 million unique users between the acquisition and mid-October. Interestingly, third party traffic analytics firms – not always a reliable source – claim that the site’s traffic is down as of late. [Source: Digg]
