Facebook rolls out promote your friends feature
Calling it a “cross promotional” tool, Facebook just launched a feature that allows you to promote other people’s posts. This doesn’t sound exciting at all. Why would I throw money to promote others people’s posts? Apparently, for Facebook getting a few suckers to throw cash at posts for promotional purposes will just help generate more revenue. The feature allows users to promote without asking for permission but does provide a few privacy limits. It is also only available for people with less than 5,000 subscribers or friends.
