Walt Mossberg and MG Siegler have both reviewed the iPhone 5 before it goes on sale on Friday. Mossberg says “I still consider the iPhone the best smartphone on the market” and acknowledges this fifth-generation as an improvement on an already great product. He goes on to call Apple’s Maps, the replacement for Google Maps, the iPhone 5′s “biggest drawback.” Siegler says he was impressed with the Maps app and pretty much everything else about the iPhone 5, calling it “the smartphone nearly perfected.” [Source: WSJ and TechCrunch]
