In 2004, Google said regarding ads that “we firmly believe that ads can provide useful information”. That was fine for everyone, but now Google has changed its tune and is saying, “After all, ads are just more answers to users’ queries.” Definitely. Ads are also just answers that another company has paid you to put in front of people. There’s also no incentive for you to push those “results” above other peoples.
