Google has announced that Chromebooks, although not popular on a mass scale (or likely even a niche scale), are popular among school administrators. This includes schools that are deploying 1-to-1 programs, which give a Chromebook to each student in attendance. That is not the majority of schools, though, but Google did note that hundreds of schools have purchased Chromebooks for educational use. Hundreds!
