Google has made its Google Play Services “app” available on the Play Store. The app allows other apps that pass through the Play Store to tie directly into Google+ and Google Accounts. Google Play Services is available to all users running Android 2.2 or later.

Earlier today, Crain’s cited a PrivCo report stating that Union Square Ventures got a 5000% return on its Tumblr investment. It also said that employees #31 through #178 received $371,000 apiece.
