HTC executive director of the U.K. and Ireland, Phil Roberson has announced that HTC will be changing their direction for smartphones. Instead of pursuing the normal Android route of an onslaught of phones – all with minimal differences – the company will go along a more Apple-esque route of fewer, higher quality phones. This model has worked well for Apple, but if HTC was able of producing quality phones this entire time, why haven’t they been doing so?
