In wake of iPad Mini’s popularity, Sharp brings production of iPad screens to “minimal level”
It would seem the iPad Mini is eating the iPad. Sharp has nearly stopped production of the iPad-size 9.7-inch screens as demand has shifted to the smaller device, according to Reuters. Industry sources told the news agency that a gradual slowdown in the large-screen production slowed at the end of 2012 and has now fallen to a “minimal level.” The slowdown might also be attributable to seasonal effects on demand.
