Judge Rules that Some Samsung Phones Can’t Be Considered as Infringing
Judge Lucy Koh ruled today that three versions of Samsung’s phones can’t be considered as infringing, as they were never directly sold in the United States by Samsung, and were instead focused on international markets. The ruling follows an hour-long argument by Samsung that Apple hasn’t proven its case and that the entire case be thrown out. Koh clearly didn’t agree with that assessment, but at least the international phones were discarded.
