Kickstarter Introduces Stricter Project Guidelines
Kickstarter introduced some new project guidelines late last night under a blog post titled “Kickstarter Is Not a Store.” Project creators will no longer be able to submit renders of products to the system, and must be “photos of the prototype as it currently exists.” Hardware projects may no longer offer multiple copies of an item as a reward, and all projects now include a “risks and challenges” section that outlines the project’s potential for failure.
