Kickstarter project offers earth friendly “ink” for 3D printers
3D printing is all the rage these days, and one company, Filabot, is jumping on the bandwagon with a cool Kickstarter project that provide the “ink” for these printers in an earth-friendly way. By ink, we are referring to the plastic required to produce the cool 3D projects. Currently, people looking to buy brand spanking new plastic spools will pay $40 a pop but Filabot has devised a system of melting everyday plastic to use in the printer. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
