Kodak Liquidating Business Units. Next Up, Consumer Film
Piece by piece, Kodak is liquidating what remains of its once dominant “images” business. Today, the company has announced plans to sell its consumer film, photo kiosk, and commercial scanner businesses, leaving it with only its consumer printers printers and commercial film business units. Reportedly there is a deal in the works with a would-be acquirer that is expected to close mid-next year. The company’s efforts to sell its patent portfolio has thus far been dissapointing.
