Kodak May Not Sell Patents After All
Kodak may not be selling its digital imaging patents – you know, the ones that it had to fight Apple for the rights to sell – after all. In a statement to AllThingsD, the company said: “[Kodak] has not reached a determination or agreement to sell the digital imaging patent portfolio, and may retain all or parts of it as a source of creditor recoveries in lieu of a sale if it concludes that doing so is in the best interests of the estate.” Translated: “Nobody is paying what we thought they would, so we might have to take our chances on our own.”
