Bjørn Holst Jespersen, a Danish architect, is attempting to map every plane and helicopter that has been shot down by Syrian rebels since their uprising in July. The Aviationist is backing the project, which Jespersen says “doesn’t pretend to be complete” and is sometimes based on weak, non-primary sources. Tiger Global has invested $50 million WordPress parent company Automatic. The round took the form of a secondary offering, meaning the investor bought shares from early investors and employees and the company receives no new capital.
