Maryland Passes Facebook Password Bill
The state legislature of Maryland has passed a bill that would ban the practice of employers demanding access to employees’ social networks. The practice has come under harsh review recently, as more and more institutions were making hiring decisions based upon the ostensibly private information. The bill passed without nary a negative thing to say about it in Maryland, however, that leaves 49 other states and an endless list of other countries that need to tackle this issue.
