This past Sunday, the first livestream of the Super Bowl happened over the internet. The experiment had its flaws – no good commercials – but on the whole it was a legal stream. Now, NBC has released the numbers for the stream, and it appears that 2.1 million viewers watched the game on internet connected devices. While this does show the stream was in high demand, it also highlights the fact that the vast majority of people haven’t and aren’t ready to ‘cut the cord’.
