Netflix’s clever Arrested Development marketing campaign
To many observers (this one included) Netflix’s resuscitation of the modern classic Arrested Development this May will make it worth the price of a subscription alone. To help promote the new episodes, Netflix has added some pretty hilarious “easter eggs” to its site. For instance, if you search “Blue” on Netflix, a blue handprint familiar to fans of the show will appear on the screen. Clicking on the handprint will bring up the clip from the relevant episode. Arrested Deveopment is no stranger to clever web campaigns (see imoscar.com) but it’s good to know that Netflix is game, too. [Source: The Bluth Company Tumblr / AV Club]
