New Trojan Virus Targeting Mac Users in China
Watch out, there’s a new trojan virus (APT malware) out there and many believe it was developed in China. The trojan is aimed at Mac users, but even more directly the virus is targeting political activists in the Uighur movement. This is especially concerning with the advent of Mac users in the region. Supposedly the trojan appears as a picture attachment in your email inbox, and upon opening will install information gathering and remote control tools. [Source: TUAW]
