Europe is getting ready to switch from Micro SIM cards to Nano SIM cards, and there’s been some debate over what form the cards should take. Nokia sent a statement to The Verge, arguing that Apple’s solution would require a “drawer of some sort” and could get stuck in Micro SIM slots. Nokia’s solution, however, doesn’t require a drawer, wouldn’t get stuck in a Micro SIM slot, and (presumably) is much smaller. We’ll see who ends up on top, though I wouldn’t put it past Apple to say “screw it” and do what they want anyway.
