Nokia Announces Indoor Mapping Alliance
Nokia has announced the In-Location Alliance, a group of 22 companies – including Qualcomm, Samsung, Broadcom, Nokia, and many more – dedicated to improving indoor mapping technology. The alliance will support a “multivendor environment,” essentially meaning that the group won’t have one general solution, but will instead develop an “open” foundation that other members can specialize and tweak into specific products.
