Despite Fast Company declaring social news sharing site Digg “definitely maybe” back, the Atlantic says the numbers show it’s not. The new Digg has 125,000 daily active users, according to data from Fast Company. At one point Digg had 6 million registered users, according to Kevin Rose on Quora. It may be all smoke and mirrors from Digg-buyer BetaWorks, who also owns the Internet popularity arbiter Chartbeat, which called the new Digg a “major referrer” of site traffic. [Source: The Atlantic]
