On the difference between founders and non-founders
Circle of Moms and Team Rankings cofounder Mike Greenfield has written about the difference he felt between working at larger companies (PayPal, LinkedIn) and founding his own companies. Working at a larger company, he says, was usually non-challenging, and as such, less fulfilling. From the post: “When you’re a founder, your company defines you. That means that your company’s daily ups and downs become your personal ups and downs; that’s a big adjustment.”
