Y Combinator alum Optimizely, a two-year-old startup that was borne after co-founder Dan Siroker worked on the Obama campaign in 2008, has passed Google’s Web Optimizer as one of the most popular A/B testing tools in the industry. The company has raised a new round of funding to further develop its product and tackle Omniture, the leader in A/B testing that was purchased by Adobe for $1.8 million.
