Oracle to acquire Eloqua for $871 million
Oracle has agreed to acquire the publicly listed Eloqua, which provides cloud-based marketing software, for nearly $871 million, at $23.50 per share. That’s a 31 percent premium on what Eloqua’s shares were going for at close of day yesterday. Oracle says the acquisition will help it create “a comprehensive Customer Experience Cloud offering to help companies transform the way they market, sell, support and serve their customers.” [Source: Oracle]
