Sean Parker says Airtime is still early, despite anemic user figures
In response to reports detailing the length to which engagement with Sean Parker’s briefly-hyped video chat startup Airtime has declined – the site reportedly attracts an anemic 400 users per day – the co-founder said, ”This is a ridiculously early stage for a company. It takes six to 12 months to get things up and running.” This is interesting, in contrast to Instagram founder Kevin Systrom who told last night’s PandoMonthly audience, “Sudden hockey stick growth doesn’t just happen.” [Source NYT]
