China’s leading social network, Sina Weibo, has launched a partial English-language interface, which could help international brands more easily reach out to Chinese consumers. The social network, which is like a hybrid of Twitter and Facebook, claims more than 400 million users and until now has been available only in simplified Chinese (mostly used in Mainland China) and traditional Chinese (mostly used in Taiwan and Hong Kong). Sina says for now the English-language features are available only for users in Southeast Asia, but the new interface is currently available for the US too. [Source: Tech In Asia]
