Stanford and Piazza, a service that allows students to ask questions of other students regarding courses, have teamed up to make the California-based school’s iTunes U course more social. iTunes U is an online “classroom” that enables participating schools and students to do their work through Apple’s devices, with free videos and courses from a number of top schools. Piazza and Stanford both worked with Apple to get the Piazza link embedded into the course’s iTunes U page.
