T-Mobile Moves Back to Truly Unlimited Plans
T-Mobile will be introducing a number of “unlimited” data plans that are actually, you know, unlimited. The carrier currently offers plans with unlimited data, but throttles a user’s connection once they pass the 5 gigabyte mark. Unfortunately, customers that jump ship from the old unlimited to the new unlimited (ask the average person to make sense of that sentence) won’t be able to use their phones as a hotspot. Throttling and hotspot capability in one basket, faster data that can only be used by the phone in the other.
