Telenav has acquired TechStars NYC hyper-local ad startup ThinkNear for $22.5 million, comprisef of $18.5 million in cash, plus restricted stock and assumed options. The exit marks the largest within the TechStars family and the first from the NYC camp. Telenav will use the acquired company to launch a new platform called Scout Advertising, allowing advertisers to target and reach consumers within 100 meters of any location. [Source Telenav]
