VC firm Trident Capital has hired Gustavo Alberelli as a managing director focused on late-stage and growth equity investments. Alberelli began his career as a venture capitalist at Trinity Ventures, and worked with Kennet Partners before moving to Trident Capital.
Earlier today, Crain’s cited a PrivCo report stating that Union Square Ventures got a 5000% return on its Tumblr investment. It also said that employees #31 through #178 received $371,000 apiece.
