Twitter Unveils “No Replies” Feature for Verified Accounts
When Twitter verifies that an account is authentic, a number of things happen. You get a nifty little badge on your profile, more people are likely to follow you, and parody accounts are less meaningful. Now, there’s one extra advantage for the people that follow verified accounts: no replies mode. The new feature allows users to browse Twitter streams without having to see messages that begin with “@-replies”. It’s a niche use case scenario, but is helpful for people that are particularly fond of celebrities.
