Two startups in the United Kingdom looking to link recipes and grocery stores, Whisk and Foodity, announced that they have raised money today. Whisk, who raised  £170,000, will have the ability to interpret recipes, create a shopping list, and then add those items into the basket of an online supermarket. Foodity, who raised £300,000 in seed funding, is an e-commerce toolkit for recipe publishers that enables users to buy recipe ingredients at major online grocers in the UK, Europe and the US.
