Type With Your Brain Using an MRI
Bettina Sorger, Joel Reithler, Brigitte Dahmen and Rainer Goebel at Universiteit Maastricht have figured out a way to associate the images captured with an MRI to the alphabet through monitoring the flow of blood to the brain. The system takes about one hour to configure for each person, and could be a major breakthrough for people suffering from paralyzing diseases such as ALS.
