Verizon has announced a new set of data plans for customers, which will allow users of the service to share 20GB of data access across devices and numbers. The plans cost a set fee per month per device, and then the additional access to the data itself for another set fee.

US officials say energy companies are believed to have fallen victim to cyberattack assaults by Iran-backed hackers. Technology Review reports on a new molecule-sorting material that could lower gas prices and reduce the need for cancer-linked additives. During the refining process, gasoline molecules are sorted by size to achieve certain octane levels.
