Danny Rimer has invested in the three out of our last four PandoMonthly guests: Dropbox's Drew Houston, Etsy's Chad Dickerson, and Nasty Gal's Sophia Amoruso. Now as Rimer prepares to step into the PandoMonthly hot seat this week (tickets still on sale!) we've put together some clips from Amoruso's PandoMonthly where she opens up about their unique investor-entrepreneur relationship.

"VCs I think can very easily be mercenary relationships, and I found a very rare fit in Danny Rimer of Index," Amoruso said. "(Rimer) didn't dance around anything, didn't ask any stupid questions, just saw what I had built, really got it, and trusted me."

She also adds that Rimer's outsider status makes him a valuable asset for entrepreneurs who want to break through the echo chamber. "It's just different than all the rest of the guys who are kind of all in the same street, talking about the same stuff, talking to one another, getting excited about the same things."
