Upfront Ventures partner Mark Suster took the stage Wednesday to join PandoDaily's Sarah Lacy (and a bottle of wine) and discuss his journey from entrepreneur to venture capitalist, his views on the Los Angeles startup ecosystem, and Amazon's future in everything from online video to the great (Internet) wars of the future. He also talked about why he might be viewed as polarizing, why his biggest regret is waiting until he was 31 to start a company, and why consulting jobs are "soulless."

The next PandoMonthly event will be in New York with Business Insider's Henry Blodget on November 14. Then, a week later, we'll return to LA for an interview with entrepreneur, investor, and Web show host Jason Calacanis.

The full interview with Suster is available for streaming below.
