John Zimmer on self-driving cars: Imagine... Tinder Lyft!
On stage at tonight's PandoMonthly, Sarah Lacy asked Lyft founder John Zimmer about how his business might be affected by self-driving cars. His response: Imagine if two strangers who meet on Tinder could share a car without a driver.
No, just imagine.
As Sarah pointed out, Zimmer appeared to be describing a horrible version of HBO's Taxicab Confessions.
The even more horrible thing: Zimmer's probably right. It'll happen one day. Oh, brave new world.
