Back in 2013, Business Insider founder Henry Blodget sat down with Pando's Sarah Lacy for a lengthy PandoMonthly interview. 

Amongst a million other issues, Blodget discussed his "colossal mistake" as a writer; his fall from Wall Street's graces and eventual redemption; and the merits of Business Insider's infamous slideshows.

He also talked about the problems with publications that focus exclusively on high-minded, long-form content; the reason Business Insider is able to publish so many articles about seemingly inane subjects without alienating readers; and the company's focus on creating the novella-length special reports.
